1. Information We Collect

When you use PasteWeb.dev, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name and email address, provided by Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication.
• Profile information: Name, email, phone number, company name, and logo image that you optionally provide in your PasteWeb settings for use on sender cards.
• Mockup content: The HTML code, titles, descriptions, tags, and metadata of mockups you create.
• Usage data: Anonymous page view data collected through Google Analytics, including pages visited, time on site, and general device/browser information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the PasteWeb service
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Display your profile information on sender cards when you share mockups (only if you enable this feature)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Understand how the service is used so we can improve it

3. Payment Data

When you subscribe to a paid PasteWeb plan, your payment is processed by our third-party payment provider, which acts as our Merchant of Record. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or banking details. Our payment provider handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS Level 1 compliance standards.

Our payment provider may collect and process the following information as part of the transaction: your name, email address, billing address, payment method details, IP address, and device information. The payment provider's collection and use of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy.

We receive from our payment provider: your customer ID, subscription ID, plan type, subscription status, and transaction history. We use this information solely to manage your account, enforce plan limits, and provide customer support.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Firebase services (Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Authentication), which are hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Data is stored in the United States (us-central1 region). Google Cloud maintains industry-standard security certifications and practices.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

PasteWeb uses the following browser storage mechanisms:

• Firebase Authentication cookies: Used to maintain your sign-in session.
• Google Analytics cookies: Used to collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., _ga, _gid).
• Session storage: Used temporarily when viewing password-protected mockups to avoid re-entering the password during the same browser session.
• Local storage: Used to remember your like interactions on shared mockups.

6. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is only shared with the following third-party services that are essential to operating PasteWeb:

• Third-party payment provider — Payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing, and subscription management as our Merchant of Record.
• Google Firebase — Authentication, database, file storage, hosting, and cloud functions. Privacy Policy

We do not share your data with any other third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

7. View Tracking

When someone views a shared mockup, PasteWeb records an anonymous view count and the timestamp of the last view. No personally identifiable information about the viewer is collected or stored. This data is visible to the mockup owner and helps them understand engagement.

8. Data Retention

• Free tier mockups: Automatically expire and become inaccessible 14 days after creation.
• Paid tier mockups: Retained for as long as the subscription is active.
• Account data: Retained for as long as your account exists.
• After cancellation: If you cancel a paid subscription, your account reverts to the free tier. Mockups beyond the free tier limit will no longer be editable but remain stored until manually deleted by you or until they expire.

9. Account Deletion

You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at contact@pasteweb.dev. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently remove your account, profile, and all mockup data within 30 days.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

11. Children's Privacy

PasteWeb is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
